Is it written in her contract that she have to change her hair each time she appears in a flashback?
Uh, what do you mean? This is her first appearance since she died. They probably just use whatever hairstyle Cynthia had at the time. They're not going to be any ruder to her after the lame reason they used to fire her in the first place.
I hope we see more of her. I really liked her character and there were things left open after she left the show.
Alexisfan07, no it wasn't. She also appeared in the flashback for Desmond which was the season finale for season 2 i believe. Where she gives him the boat.
I meant before she left the show as a regular, sorry! She has different hair in all of her actual flashbacks, but her island hair/Michael's vision hair is supposed to be similar in color/style, and they probably didn't think changing Cynthia's hair was necessary here.
Anyone know what Libby said to Michael the second time she appeared? I missed it cuz my grandparents were yelling at each other.
She told him not to do it.
don't forget, she also appeared in Hurley's flashback in the nut-house.....only for a second, but she was there nonetheless...
I am still waiting for an explanation on that one.

I never heard about any of that. I am out of "the click", I guess! haha
c-dub - the popular internet theory is that anyone who gets charged with a DUI is fired from the show. Both Libby and Anna Lucia (well, the actors who portray them) were busted for DUI and were killed from the show shortly thereafter. The actor who portrays Jin was recently caught with a DUI and the flashforward about his death seemed to support that theory.
interesting to point out that even though these are visions, she's always dressed appropriately - she's a nurse in the ER, and a deckhand on the ship (FYI: Ships cruise ON the water, boats cruise UNDER it, and neither of them 'sail' anywhere - your random fact of the day).
ps: Anna Lucia's sentence included some home detention time and community service so that might be why she wasn't in any visions. Her charges were a bit more severe.
Rather than believing that the DUIs cause the firings, I believe that they both found out they were ending their tour on LOST and went out for a farewell party and got a little too tipsy. tail wags the dog.
hello. re libby and ana-lucia. from what i have heard, its not about the duis. ana-lucia proved unpopular and when that scene was filmed where michael kills her, the producers felt the audience reaction would be stronger if another character was killed as well.

Ana-Lucia did appear in "?" in a dream to Eko in a dream. She tells him to help John. Small example, but in case anyone is a believer that the dreams and visions are Smokey related that would be one to consider.
