Every one is saying that you can't see ascar in the ff of Jack. You can see it in the 2nd picture faintly.
you can see it in all those pictures but it is backwards in the one in the mirror ;)
What happened to all that wonderful hair on his chest????? S1 and S2, he was a hairy doctor.........
I'm pretty sure Matthew Fox shaved his chest for his role in Speed Racer. I saw a Speed Racer clip of him fighting a ninja... he was shirtless and completely shaved.
I think it's funny that LOST uses his body hair to symbolize Jack's transition. Here he's clean-cut and happy... later he goes nuts and grows a scraggly beard.
wasnt the insision straight horizontal? That scar is at an angle.

Perhaps Matthew Fox has a real appendectomy scar?
Hmmm Jack is getting kinda chubby now that he is off the island...or is Fox just letting himself go? Sad.

don't you think he was done filming speedracer by the time he filmed this episode? his chest hair would have grown back in the months since he shot the film. after all, the movie is out soon (or it already is, whatever) and it takes many months, sometimes years between wrapping a film and its release.
do you gave screen shot of his back. shouldn't there be a scar on it from the time Kate stitsched him up after the plane crash. If not, then it could be this scene from Pilot is rea;;y Jack returning to the island and not the first crash since the scar is not in the flash forward then it would be a production error or it happened on the second crash which I had not thought a plausible explaination until now.
GAH! Why is Jack all shaved down in this epi? Did he give up surgery to be a flabby Chippendale?
